Thursday, August 31st, the Center for Progress and Justice (1420 Cerrillos Rd) will be a drop point for donations in support of those affected by hurricane Harvey. 9am - 12:00pm. "The Houston Independent School District has an immediate need for children's clothes of all sizes (clean and in reasonably good repair), school uniforms and school supplies." Accepting: Clothing Pillows Diapers Baby food Pet supplies School Supplies Canned and individually packaged food Travel size toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo&conditioner, soap, etc.)
