But it’s been around so long, its dealers have gone legitimate. The Mexican cartels might have narcocorridos, but the sugar cartels have their own national anthems. As a middle school teacher, Naughty Mouse grew adept at boiling history into short bits. Now Mouse is bringing his pulp non-fiction storytelling to Iconik, and blending it with slam poetry from his new zine, to re-tell the history of the oldest fix. You’ve never heard history like this - and you’ll never look at dessert the same way again. *** Naughty A. Mouse is a slam poet and teacher based in Phoenix. A graduate of Princeton, and USC Law, he never let his schooling get in the way of his education. His passion is making knowledge accessible and exciting to all.
