Description
San Luis is a general law city, which operates with a council-manager form of government, where the council appoints a City Manager who administers the daily operations of city government comprised by a seven-member City Council. San Luis is located at the southwest corner of Arizona, along the border of San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico and California. The city is a mere 70 miles from the white beaches of El Golfo de Santa Clara. More than 500,000 people live within an hour's drive of the city. This makes this unique community excel in rich heritage and culture appeal.

On Thursday, July 13th, the non-profit organization @CampesinosSinFronteras presented the graduating class of the Instituto de Liderazgo para Jovenes 2017. The students presented their final projects demonstrating what they had learned during the course of the workshops. Vice Mayor Maria C. Ramos and Judge Juan M. Guerrero along with CSF’s staff members presented the students certificates of completion.
AWC San Luis Center Informatics Building Groundbreaking Celebration On Thursday, June 29th, Arizona Western College initiated the renovation and expansion of its San Luis Informatics Campus located at San Luis Middle School. The expansion and renovation is the result of a Federal Title III STEM Grant; “Informatics STeming Into New Careers for Today and Tomorrow” (INSTINCT2).
