In Memory of Rick DeVecchi Our organization holds a car show every year in Memory of Rick DeVecchi who was murdered in Berkeley in 1998. http://www.murdervictims.com/CAH/rick_devecchi.htm
He was an alumni of Arroyo High School and loved working on cars in his spare time. In his memory, we have a car show the first Saturday in May and all proceeds go to the Arroyo High School Athletic Department. With all the budget cuts this is a way that the community can help keep our kids in sports and not out getting into trouble.
Come to a day of fun and enjoy hundreds of classic and custom cars, street rods, tricked out trucks, muscle cars, vintage cars, low riders, motorcycles, bicycles, and more. There will be live music, vendors, food, contest, and more!!! New car dealers from the Bay Area are all invited to showcase their new makes and models.
Meet KTVU celebrities as they emcee the event and wrap up the day with the "people's choice" trophy presentations. Remember that 100% of all proceeds benefits high school sports. Mark you calendar for Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
