RSF provides essential capital to path-breaking social enterprises (for-profit and non-profit) and makes impact investing accessible to all. http://rsfsocialfinance.org    An early funder of social enterprises, RSF has provided $275 million in loans and $100 million in grants since 1984. These funds support for-profit and nonprofit enterprises that pioneer fresh approaches to problems, develop models others can build upon, and promote resilient communities. Examples of the hundreds of social enterprises RSF has funded include:
Revolution Foods, a fast-growing company that provides nutritious meals and snacks at schools across the country and is driving change in the U.S. cafeteria culture
LifeWays North America, a nonprofit whose early childhood education program is a model and an international movement
Organic Bouquet, an online retailer that has led the way in reducing pesticide and toxic fertilizers in the flower industry
RSF ensures ongoing innovation by continuously questioning current practices and reaching out to thousands of people every year through presentations, conferences, and gatherings of borrowers, investors, and grantees—a practice it calls “deep listening.” The goal is twofold: to identify needs and opportunities that are not yet on the public agenda, and to spark a transformation in the way people think about and work with money. That transformation is a foundational purpose for RSF and an essential element of building the next economy.
