facebook.comHow the surf spot 204 got its name. Yes, the break got its name from the “204” railroad marker seen in the profile photo. There has been some debate as to the route that would leave us in San Clemente at mile 204. The following information appears to make the most sense. This information is from surfline.com “David” describes the route as: 0.0 Barstow (at the old Barstow train station, about one mile west of the huge McDonalds just off I-15) 36.7 Victorville 71.0 Devore (near the Hyundai Glen Helen Pavilion) 81.3 San Bernardino 106.7 Pomona 131.7 Pasadena 140.1 Los Angeles (directly behind the LA Men's Jail near downtown) 165.0 Fullerton 170.5 Angel Stadium in Anaheim 175.5 Santa Ana 197.2 San Juan Capistrano 204.0* 204.8 San Clemente 209.2 San Onofre 226.2 Oceanside 238.1 Encinitas 244.0 Del Mar 267.5 San Diego 273.1 National City The cool part about "204" is that it has been "204" for over one-hundred years.

Beautiful sunset last night though only a few people in the water.
