The Lee Kay Public Shooting Center is a full-service public range owned and operated by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. The shooting center has seven outdoor ranges that are open all year. Notable features include cowboy action scenarios, dog training grounds, shooting clinics and hunter education classes.

facebook.comStarting September 4th, we will be offering extended hours on our rifle ranges. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday we will be open until 7 pm to enable shooters to sight in their rifles prior to the hunts. October 18th we will go back to normal hours on those days.
Fox at Lee Kay
We have a lot of wildlife visitors at the shooting range, believe it or not. This fox stopped by the other night.

JR from South Jordan recently painted some of our trap houses as part of his Eagle Scout project. He enjoys hunting and shooting trap with his family. About 40 people came out to help with this project and we’re grateful to all of them!

We're normally opened on Wednesdays, but please note that we'll be closed on July 24 for the Pioneer Day holiday.

This isn't the first place you'd expect to see wildlife, but we actually do see a lot of animals here! In addition to nesting birds, we have foxes and deer regularly hanging out at the range.
UTAH YOUTH EDUCATION IN SHOOTING SPORTS ENDS RECORD BREAKING SEASON AND AWARDS OUTSTANDING STUDENT ATHLETES
The Utah Youth Education in Shooting Sports program (UTYESS) ended its record-breaking season this past weekend with the Utah State Youth Championships, where the program’s youth competed in a 100-target Skeet tournament, a 200-target Trap tournament, and a 100-target Sporting Clays tournament. This year’s event saw 139 participants — a sharp 96% increase in participants over last year’s State Youth Championships, making it the largest State Youth Championships the program has hosted since it began in 2002! Construction at Lee Kay
We're hopeful that construction on the 100/200/300 yard rifle range will be completed soon! There have been some delays because of all the moisture lately. As you can see here, some of the equipment has had a difficult time maneuvering Thanks for your patience!
Head's up: All skeet fields at Lee Kay will be closed for the USAYESS State Championships on May 31. Skeet field availability will be limited on June 1 and the trap fields will be closed on June 1.
