Just found out about an amazing opportunity that might be of interest to the St. Helens sailing community: Sauvie Island Yacht Club is sponsoring a Lifesling crew overboard recovery training. Two sessions: Classroom tomorrow night near PDX; Boat/water session at Sand Island (across from St. Helens Marina) this weekend. $30 per person, contact Craig Johnston, 503-543-0945 for details. Must attend classroom session to participate in on-the-water portion.
