Located in the Tonaquint area of sunny St. George, DXATC is the premier college for skill and competency based training in Washington County. Located in the Tonaquint area of sunny St. George, the Dixie Applied Technology College is one of eight regional colleges that comprise the Utah College of Applied Technology.  DXATC is the premier college for skill and competency based training in Washington County.

DXATC was created during a special session of the Utah State Legislature in 2001   through House Bill  1003 which created the Utah College of Applied Technology and its regional campuses:  Bridgerland,  Davis, Dixie, Mountainland, Ogden-Weber, Tooele, Southwest , and Uintah Basin.  The UCAT Board of Trustees provides oversight and governs the activities of the eight campuses.

Our charge is to provide relevant skill and competency based training to prepare students for good jobs.  To that end, the DXATC commits to our vision mission, and guiding principles:

Students and Staff the February Career Luncheon & Workshop is only two days away! This will be the first one in our beautiful new building! Teresa Ford, a dynamic speaker and owner of Fitness Level 10, will present a 1-hour workshop entitled "Becoming Limitless: High Performance Habits to Live the Dream." It will be held in the Professional Building, Industry Training Room, from Noon to 1 pm, Thursday, February 8. Lunch will be served starting at 11:20 in the area outside the Industry Training Room. We are excited to see you there!

What an amazing day of service here at Dixie Tech. Every December we gather together to make a difference in the community. This year we were able to make 75 fleece blankets that will be donated to Nonprofit organizations here is St. George. We also had a group head over to Pioneer Park to clean up trash. Thank you to everyone who came and supported!
