This beautiful theatre built in 1920 is in the final stages of a 16 year restoration.  With the help of generous donors we are nearly there! Join us!    The Renaissance Arts Center, Inc. Board is working to renovate and restore the Historic Wilson Building and Theatre back to its original historic design wherever possible. Our goal is to provide a fine arts center for the Mini-Cassia region. The restoration of the Wilson Theatre will provide an opportunity for the region to host local, state and national artistic programs, as well as educational opportunities for a myriad of different type of performers and those with different artistic skills. The theatre will not only be a performing center, but also feature an arts gallery. It will be a place for community events and conventions. It will also be a catalyst in economic development, featuring fine arts and education as well as historic architecture and tourism.
The Renaissance Arts Center, Inc. the Historic Wilson Building & Theatre is a 501 c 3 non-profit and your donations are tax exempt. If you wish to donate and assist in restoration or operations of this community project please send it to Wilson Theatre, P.O. Box 594, Rupert, Idaho 83350 and we will send a non-profit tax exemption receipt.  Your donation can help in providing an opportunity for all ages to better themselves in a myriad of artistic and educational fields.
With the help of everyone the theatre will once again becoming the jewel of  the Rupert Square. The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in January 2001.
