The Tigers face North Carolina Central in one of the play-in games in Dayton, Ohio. Both are 16 seeds. (Wednesday, 5:40 p.m.) Houston hasn't been to the Big Dance since 2010 -- and it hasn't won a tournament game since a string of three straight Final Fours ended in 1984. The resurgent Cougars take on San Diego State in Wichita, Kansas (Thursday, 6:20 p.m.). Texas Tech is the highest-seeded Lone Star team, and the No. 3 seed headlines an all-Texas matchup at against Stephen F. Austin at the American Airlines Center in Dallas (Thursday, 6:27 p.m.). The AAC hosts second- and third-round games on Thursday and Saturday. Texas A&M and Texas also play on the same day -- just not against each other. The premiere in-state rivalry has fizzled a bit since A&M bolted for the Southeastern Conference in 2012. And the only way they'll face off this time is if both make the Final Four -- a serious Lone Star long shot. A&M plays Providence in Charlotte (Friday, 11:15 a.m.). UT takes on Nevada in Nashville (Friday, 3:30 p.m.).
