We are a family operated restaurant.  Owner Rosemarie was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica and her 1st generation American son, Shamarie has always had a passion for food and in providing quality customer service.  We would like to offer our Jamaican reminiscent of the food we ate growing up.   As children learning to cook at an early age was required in our home plus our house was the place to be for natural, delicious foods, like rice and beans with real coconut milk and chicken locally grown chicken and meats.  Our tradition on Sundays is to make homemade ice cream, potato pudding, toto and coconut cake. Neighbors would smell the aroma and stop in.  Now, we prepare each dish with the same love and quality skills like our parents but with also adding in our own modern twist.

So why Cool Runnings Cuisine? Though some of the natives of Jamaica are poor, their attitude and view of life give them a Cool and grateful attitude that is always worth running with.  So no matter how big nor small, it’s always Cool Runnings with a smile!
