2016 Santa Express Routes
We are happy to announce the 2016 Santa Express Parade Schedule Community Non-Profit Ramps Up Fundraising With Six Nights Of The “Santa Express” Annual Santa Express parade to visit six different neighborhoods with fire engines, floats, costumed characters, and Santa himself during the first two weekends in December. Helping needy families since 1993, the annual Holiday Giving program hopes to expand the number of children it supports in 2016. Their 2016 schedule includes the now famous Santa Express that visits Jurupa Valley neighborhoods for six nights during the first two weeks of December. Adopted families receive several weeks’ worth of food, hygiene items, school and household supplies in addition to toys for the children. Originally founded by local firefighters, the group is made up of many members of the community who deliver several initiatives designed around serving the disadvantaged. Since 1993 over 1,200 families and tens of thousands of children have been assisted by the Holiday Giving program. The Santa Express features an array of new and classic fire equipment, floats, characters such as; Rudolph, Snowman, Rescue the Dog, and of course Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Volunteers hand out candy canes to all of the children and collect financial donations and toys to be used for the Holiday Adoption program. Tens of thousands of people enjoy the Santa Express as it travels through 40 plus miles of Jurupa Valley streets each year. This year, the program is excited to announce their new Christmas Festival at Country Village Senior Apartments. This open to the public event will feature entertainment for the whole family. It will be followed by the famous Santa Express to allow people from all over the Inland Empire to enjoy the festivities and parade. Please click on the link for route information. Routes are chosen based on numerous factors including safety, ease of travel, and historical attendance figures. Streets along routes are subject to change.

A big thank you to our local Big 5 Sporting Goods for helping us help one of our community members in need. Thanks to the power of social media, our volunteers discovered this morning that one of our community members and program volunteers had her bike stolen last night while she was working. She came out late at night after her shift was over to discover that the lock had been cut and her bike was long gone. This morning, our volunteers sprung into action. With the help of the manager and staff of Big 5 Sporting Goods in Jurupa Valley, we were able to purchase a new bike, lock and safety lights, and get them delivered to her just in time for her next shift. If it weren't for the help of our community volunteers and donations, we couldn't do stuff like this. We need your support. Please like and share our page and donate if you are able.
