Founded in 1994 by John Hanntz III, Hanntz Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is a family owned and operated business located in Ringoes, NJ. With the assistance of his wife, Merris, John began operating out of their apartment with only two trucks and three helpers as he built the foundation of their business. Merris continued to manage the office for the next14 years while raising their four children. In 2008, Merris expanded her career by joining a successful local plumbing and heating retail store as their a/r manager and was recently promoted to assistant store manager. While she continues to manage the daily accounting duties for HP&H, John focuses his attention on providing outstanding customer service, professional skill in design and maintenance and special attention to every customer.

John maintains his NJ Master Plumber’s License, as well as consistently updating his qualifications for his NJ State Inspector Licensing for H.H.S. and R.C.S., Construction Sub-Code Official and Plumbing Inspector. In addition, John is certified to provide the required RPZ installation, testing and inspection services for the recently instituted NJ State mandated regulations regarding backflow prevention. Other certifications include EPA Lead Abatement and Public Works Contractor Permit.
