Description
This 85 year old rustic barn is a fun, casual setting for events. Very private setting can be set up for many different types and sizes of events Flat Duck Event Barn is a part of one of the oldest farms in the North GA area. Established in 1836, shortly after the Cherokee Indian removal by Thomas Chapman Napier. The farm was originally 3000 acres. The farmhouse and surrounding acres is a Georgia Historic Site. Used as a hospital for injured soldiers during the Battle of Chickamauga, the house is now owned and occupied by Hilda and Willis Jones, proprietors of Flat Duck Event Barn.
