In the 1960’s Mr. Roger Macomber created Hickory Knob Subdivision by cutting out a portion of a large timber tract. Over the years Hickory Knob has been developed in phases. As the sign says Hickory Knob has been and continues to be a great place to grow families. Mr. Macomber started this tradition and continues to be actively involved in Hickory Knob Subdivision. This phase, phase 11 is the final phase. It will, when completed, contain up to 104 homes. Our goal at K7 Properties is to continue the tradition started by Mr. Macomber. Mr. Macomber has always strived to help others and mentor younger generations. We continue this tradition at the ground breaking here this day. K7 Properties previously known as Smithfield Properties and Kersey’s Construction specializes in residential and commercial development, home building and property management. K7 Properties is a family business formed with 12 members and 1 manager.
