Description
We believe that the church exists for the sake of others. We are to be on mission even as God is on mission to save sinners through Jesus Christ. We are called Missio Church because we believe that church does not exist primarily for itself, but for the sake of others. We are to be on mission even as God is on mission to save sinners through Jesus Christ.
Missio is Latin for "the mission." We take seriously our responsibility and calling to make disciples of all nations. We are to be missional for the glory and fame of Jesus Christ.
The circle in our logo reminds us of our circle-of-accountability, both as a church and as individuals. God has sovereignly placed us in specific spheres-of-geography and influence such that we might saturate those areas with a gospel presence. And in doing so, everyone we encounter might have repeated opportunities to respond to the gospel.
The mountainesque portrayal of the "M" in our logo, reminds us that Jesus, on a mountain in Galilee, called all his disciples to be on this mission.
