At the Bucket Truck In-Service Training Event, we presented the equipment specs and features of the new M2 106 Freightliner bucket truck. Above you will see a demonstration of how our “squibs” or electronic E-matches ignite the fireworks. The black match connects to get firework tube that holds the shell. Once the squib ignites the black match it will carry the fire to the shell. Yesterday we finished loading up the show starter mortar tubes with shells, stapling them to the “black match” and water proofing them just in case it starts to rain. It wouldn’t be the 4th without a little shower. Fireworks will begin at 9 pm. Please remember this is a private event. Only employees with passes are imvited.
