Pumpkin Daze is Saturday, October 1, 2016. There's no better way to experience the spirit of autumn in the Ozarks. Join us on Main Street in Republic! Since 1992, Republic, Missouri, has hosted its Pumpkin Daze festival on the first Saturday in October. We believe there's no better place to experience the spirit of autumn in the Ozarks.
Our giant pumpkins draw participants from the entire region, our vendors gather to show off fall arts and crafts, and families from all over the Ozarks gather to celebrate the harvest season like so many generations before them.

We had a terrific turnout Saturday. Thanks to all our committee for all your work, and a big thanks to our FFA students. I think all went off without a hitch. I have lots is pics to post and will try to get that done today. We still have some t shirts for sale. Mainly medium, large and a few x large. Call Linda at 417-732-6210 and you can come pick them up. Also we have straw for sale at $4.50 a bale. Again call me at 417-732-6210. We will make arrangements for you to pick up. Again a big thanks to the vendors. See ya next year.

Wow tomorrow is our big day. Beautiful weather predicted, lots of produce coming in, lots of wonderful stuff in our vendors booths, lots of good food, and a new sound system we will be able to hear over whole event. I have heard rumors we are having a very large watermelon coming to weigh in. Pour GPC president from Massachusetts said in a text, "take lots of pics". Yeah! Also don't forget to come by information booth and register for free t shirt and an autumn decoration. Then pick up a few t shirt for only $5.00 a piece. They are really cool. Don't forget kids pedal tractor pull at 10:30 and the adult pedal tractor pull at 4. This one should be a hoot. Also at 2 we have our pet parade back with wicked yummy donuts for the winners. Our entertainment has some new events this year. Check them out on our entertainment schedule on Facebook. But the always fun event is the pie eating sponsored entirely by Village Inn. We always need participants for this. We have school administrators and I have invited our new mayor.😉. Hope you can turnout for our 25th annual event. Have fun!
