Time Change! Our next book club time will be December 11th at 6:30 pm. This will allow for many more of you to be able to attend. The Rosie Project is a hilarious book about an outcast trying to find love.

Hugo and Nebula award winner Seanan McGuire/Mira Grant will be book launching Into The Drowning Deep with us tonight 11/17 at 7:00 pm! Seanan in a literary force and we are delighted to be hosting. People have been asking if it will be a ticked event, (she is that popular and her fans are loyal to the core!) we are not requiring tickets though if you want a chair we recommend you get here early!

-Book reading and signing with Tony Ventrella at 2:00 pm on Saturday the 18th. Tony Ventrella has been a friend of the store since before we were open. I was in Portland with my family and received a phone call, “Hi Dan, this is Tony Ventrella, I think bookstores are important and want to help in any way I can.” His enthusiasm and positivity are contagious! His book Here’s Smiling at You is Tony at his best. In it you will read stories about the people he has met and the impact they have had on his life. I was lucky to read some early chapters, and I was smiling as I was reading. Come and join us for his book launch… I promise that you will leave with a smile! Fun Fact: Tony once owned a bookstore with radio show host Dori Monson.

Teaser Post #2 Our authors visiting on the 25th have been known to draw on walls. One has sold over 100 books in a night at our store and the other has sold over 250 total books!

Teaser Post! Small Business Saturday is November 25th. We are going bring in two authors. One is the author of our best selling title and the other author is our bestseller. Guesses?

Two HUGE events this weekend! We will be launching Mira Grant's latest book Into the Drowning Deep on Friday, 17th at 7:00 pm. We will also be launching Tony Ventrella's Here's Smiling at you on Saturday, 18th at 2:00! We can't wait! Mark those calendars!

Loved the display I saw when I came into work yesterday. Marissa Meyer and Jeff Kinney played a pivotal role in the genesis of our store, so it is only fitting that they hang out next to each other on our display.
