Did our first baptism in our new building today. What a blessing to baptize two people who recently trusted Christ, one who trusted Christ 16 years ago on this same Sunday, and 4 faithful kids! Had a packed house and great service!
Tomorrow will be our first baptisms in our new church building...so exciting!

Looking forward to our mid-week Bible study tonight at 7:00pm. We are continuing our study in I Peter. I am especially looking forward to tonight as we cover the topic "How to Love Life". Yes the Bible actually says the term "love life". Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend! See you at 7:00pm!!!!
It was another busy weekend for our church. Saturday we had a sweet memorial service for the father of a lady in our church. It was wonderful to see the love and support from so many of his lifelong friends and family. We were honored to be a part of that. Saturday night we had a Bible and Barbecue time for the men. The men got together and had delicious tri tip and chicken from 2 Buds BBQ, and afterward the men were able to teach, preach and share together from the Bible. It was a great time of food and fellowship. Sunday, then, was a great day with two first time visitors and a great crowd. The sermon challenged us to go the extra mile when praying for people and look for ways to become the answer to the prayer. It was both challenging and convicting! All in all, it was a busy weekend, but it was a great weekend for serving the Lord and helping people! If you do not have a church home, come join us as we strive to share Jesus with our community!
GBC ladies: Just a reminder...if you're bringing food for the memorial service today, could you have it here by 12:30 so I can make sure things are set and ready for the service at 1. Thank you so much for your help, y'all are the best!

I love my church!!! I'm trying to get food together for the Celebration of Life service for Sable Harris, the young lady killed in an accident last week. I've had so many people ask what they can do to be a help, or what they can bring and some of these people didn't even know her. God is happy right now that His children are living for and loving one another. Thank you GBC, you make Jesus look good! Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens...
