The Dinosaur Museum is conveniently located adjacent to Reptile Gardens at 8973 S Highway 16 in Rapid City, SD The Dinosaur Museum is located adjacent to Reptile Gardens at 8973 S Highway 16 in Rapid City, South Dakota. Inside the dinosaur exhibit, you will see over 98 ancient reptiles from more than 65 species, learn more in our educational movies theatre, have the opportunity to make your way through our famous mirror maze, and even try your hand at digging for fossils!

Dinosaur Museum is closed for the winter, but we will reopen in the spring of 2018! Thank you all for a great year and we hope up see you in the spring!
This Saturday & Sunday will be the last two days we are open for the season! Only a few items left in the gift shop, and we still have discounts for anyone looking to save on presents for Christmas! Sat Oct. 21st 10:00am - 6:00pm Sun Oct. 22nd 10:00am - 6:00pm *Restrooms will NOT be available this weekend. Please use the restroom before you arrive.

The Dinosaur Museum will be open September 28th - October 2nd for the 2017 annual Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park! Hours will be 10:00am - 6:00pm Thurs through Mon. #buffaloroundup
