Just imagine being there! You can be! Join us for the Destroyer USS ORLECK DD 886 Association reunion in Norfolk, VA on April 26-28, 2018 and experience it for yourself at the Virginia Arts Festival's Internationall Military Tattoo, the centerpiece of our 15th reunion since 1993. Registration is currently underway and rooms are limited. Information and registration information can be found at www.ussorleck.com. "Words cannot explain the Virginia International Tattoo other than to say it's the most amazing and inspiring gathering of military bands, drill teams, and performers from the U.S. service branches and from militaries around the world. It gave me goosebumps and brought tears to my eyes. I see why it was chosen to be the best of American Bus Association's Top 100 Events in North America!" Good new from New Orleans from USS ORLECK sailor, John Patten: "Everything is fine here in New Orleans, had a few heavy showers not much, the streets are dry and the sun is out. The wind picked up to about 25 mph but that's all."

Another message of safety from Sidney Dowell, Walker, LA Hi Bob. We are just fine a little bit of rain about 4" so far. Not flooding here at all. Thank you for asking. I do not know any Orleck sailors in the area. Sidney
