Spotlight on Volunteer John Daly John Daly covers a lot of ground. Every weekday you’ll probably see him in a variety of departments at Gifford or even at one of our clinics. From filing in Primary Care and completing mailings for Surgical Services to stamping our logo on linens and rounding the hospital for cleanliness, John does a little bit of everything. His efficiency and consistent attention to detail have made him a favorite among staff. In 2014 after retiring from Randolph National Bank a neighbor convinced John to try volunteering at the hospital. He quickly took on additional projects and expanded his volunteer role. John’s efforts help keep everything running smoothly and ease the workload for staff. We wouldn’t be as successful without volunteers like him. “I think the hospital is very up to date. It seems like there is always some construction project going on and updating something. It’s always very much in the present. You know Gifford is here in our own backyard every day and every hour. It’s a wonderful resource.” To learn more about volunteering at Gifford visit www.giffordhealthcare.org/volunteering.
