MILE HIGH THROWDOWN- EVENT 2 21-15-9 Row Relay RX Division 500/400m row 21-15-9 deadlifts (225/155) wall ball shots (20/14) Over the bar burpees 500/400m row SCALED Division 500/400m row Deadlifts (155/95) wall ball shots (14/10) Over the bar burpees 500/400m row At the call of 3,2,1,Go............. Event 2 begins with either the male athlete rowing 500m or the female athlete rowing 400m. Once the first row is complete, the team will begin the 21-15-9 workout. This will be a relay style workout where partner 1 will perform 21 deadlifts, then partner 2 will perform 21 deadlifts. Once the deadlifts are complete, the team will move to wall ball shots where partner 1 will complete all 21 wall ball shots, then partner 2 will complete all 21 wall ball shots. This pattern will continue until the athletes have finished through the round of 9. Once the athletes finish the round of 9, either the male will row 500m or the female will row 400m. Each athlete must row once in the workout. It is the team's choice of who will row first or last. This is a fun one!
Mile High Throwdown Event 1 Hang Squat Clean + Front Squat R/X Male: 95/115/135/165/185/205/225/255/285 Female: 65/85/105/115/125/135/155/165/175 SCALED Male: 65/85/95/115/135/155/175/195/225 Female: 45/55/65/85/95/105/115/125/135 Both athletes will begin the ladder at the same time. One ladder for the male athlete and one ladder for the female athlete. Score will be heaviest combined weight lifted by both male and female partners. Athletes will have 30 seconds to complete each lift in as many attempts as possible with a 10 second transition to the next lift. If an athlete either finishes the ladder, or reaches a max weight on the ladder, the athlete may perform max repetitions of deadlifts in remaining time for additional points. Each deadlift will count as one additional, one tenth of a point added to the total score.
