Tonight a special woman will be remembered for her involvement in not only the Majestic Theater- as a Board Member- but in our entire county. Wilhelmina "Billie" Payne devoted much of her life volunteering her time and working to positively influence the community. The Majestic Theater has established the BILLIE PAYNE MEMORIAL AWARD which recognizes a high school senior who is involved in their school musical with an emphasis in their involvement in community service. Ten students sent in a 500 word essay as their application. The winner will be announced tonight at the Majestic Awards. Thank you to all those who applied for this prestigious honor and for all you do for the community!

Tonight is the big night... The Majestic Awards which will recognize the achievements of local high school theater programs. The awards program begins at 7:00 p.m. at Pottsville Area High School. Tickets are $10.00 and will be available at the door. The title sponsor of the Majestic Awards is BB & T Bank.

Tonight the "Pennharmonics" - the premier a capella group from Penn State main campus- will be performing at the Majestic Theater. Tickets are $15.00 and will be available at the door. The show begins at 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. A featured performer of the group is Schuylkill County's own Bryel Frasch who is a 2016 graduate of North Schuylkill High School. We hope to see you at the show tonight!
