Equal parts outrageous and thoughtful, her writing and standup comedy is engaging, honest, and comes from the heart. Emma once followed a eulogy at the Limestone Comedy Festival, after which, Bobcat Goldthwait told her he’d never seen anyone do what she does. In addition to being a successful touring comedian, Emma is a third generation beekeeper and honey farmer. She is the cofounder and artistic director of the 208 Comedyfest, as well as the codirector of Comedyfort (part of the Treefort Festival), and her debut comedy album, "Shut Up, Calvin" is available from Rooftop Comedy. When not touring, Emma lives with her many children in Idaho, where she keeps kids and bees with varying degrees of success.
