Olympic Discovery Trail is the mission of the Peninsula Trails Coalition, a nonprofit founded in 1988. More than 70 of its 130 miles are complete. The Olympic Discovery Trail (ODT) traverses approximately 130 miles across the Olympic Peninsula, bordered by the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

The ODT begins in the Victorian seaport of Port Townsend and continues west to the Pacific Ocean. It is a wide, paved path for cyclists, hikers, runners, wheelchair users, and equestrians. (No motorized vehicles besides wheelchairs and mobility scooters.)

Construction began in the 1990s. Completed sections currently total more than 70 miles, plus the 25-mile singletrack Adventure Route section.
