facebook.comTwenty years ago, Mrs. Cormier created Heart Healthy Day. The goal was to involve the entire school and integrate health across the curriculum. The culminating activity was a day filled with students participating in fun activities to get their hearts pumping and bodies moving. After 31 years teaching in Plymouth, Mrs. Cormier will be retiring in the spring. Her legacy will continue each year during this great event. Thank you Mrs. Cormier.
African Drum and Dance treated the West students to quite a show today. Thank you to our PTA for bringing this great cultural event to Plymouth!
To kick off the 2018 Winter Olympics, Students in 3rd grade participated in several events. The competition began with a Flag Designing event for the country they represent, followed by a scavenger hunt, math event and a mapping event. Students enjoyed learning and competing in The Olympics!

French Club is a big hit at West. Thank you Mrs. Cormier and Mr. Ozelius for sharing the French culture with our students.
Grade 2 Spreads Kindness Social Studies Coordinator, Mr. Robert Powers, came to read the book, What Does It Mean To Be Kind, by Rana DiOrio. The students shared their 28-day Kindness Challenge, and discussed their acts of kindness. Mr. Powers commented that visiting classrooms is one of the most favorite parts of his job!
