A Church for All People PUMC "TOP TEN" VALUES
1.We believe we are called to be a church for all people, and so we affirm our community to be multi-ethnic, multicultural and gender equal.
2.We believe that God transforms lives through the gift of Grace:
◦Prevenient Grace:  the grace given to us even while we are sinners and broken people.
◦Justifying Grace:  the grace that reconciles us to God through the cross of Jesus, and provides us with pardon, forgiveness and healing;
◦Sanctifying Grace:  the grace that through through Holy Spirit enables us to live a Christian life as followers of Jesus Christ, and through which we receive daily comfort and strength.
3.We believe in and will affirm the God-given sacred worth of each individual life.
4.We believe the world is our parish, and so our ministry extends in and through our church, the community and the world.
5.We are called to be a caring community of hospitality.
6.We are called to be a caring community of healing.
7.We are called to be a caring community of hope.
8.Service:  We share God's love in practical ways.
9.Discipleship:  We follow Jesus as seekers and students, and invite people to follow Jesus.
10.Caring Community:  We believe in the church as the Body of Christ in the world, and believe discipleship occurs best in small group communities.

Join us for this powerful service, as we say goodbye to 2017 and greet 2018! Together we will celebrate, remember, and re-commit to living a joy-filled life with God! The history of this service goes back to the founder of the movement that became the United Methodist Church, John Wesley, who began Watch Night Services in the 1740s.
