Political Science professor Dr. Mark Haas recently visited Israel for a conference sponsored by Academic Exchange, an organization dedicated to the broadening of scholarly understanding of Israel, its neighborhood, and the Arab-Israel conflict through travel to Israel and the Palestinian Territories. He joined other American and European academics to hear lectures from numerous Israeli and Palestinian diplomats, members of the military, and academics. Dr. Haas visited Golan Heights, the Temple Mount and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, among other notable locations. #DuqAbroad

Students from the Center for Healthcare Ethics visited India to study among 14 Palliative Care residents at the Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital of AIIMS. They also had the chance to directly observe patient-caregiver interactions. Oh, and uh, they rode ELEPHANTS! 🐘 #DuqAbroad
