Who I am:
I'm a woman who believes in your power. I am passionate about helping others to become their best self. I find it very rewarding to share information to help you in your journey.
I am a mother of 4 children ages 23, 20, 9 and 7. Each child offers me a different spin on life - as they have their own amazing personality and strengths. I am a lifetime fiance'. I married once and it was a learning experience - I learned that paper doesn't mean a thing - commitment, love and honesty are most important. I am a Licensed Master's Level Psychologist - which means I went to school to learn how to help people. The kicker is...I share more life experiences and knowledge gathered along the way than anything that was in those really expensive books.
Why I do this:
I believe in the possibilities life has to offer. Most often, I find that people get stuck trying to be what someone else told them they should be. The possibility lies in helping them explore their mind to allow them to create an authentic self - unlike anyone else's blueprint. In the exploration comes growth which creates a power within you that is unmatched. This power helps you to find the real YOU!
What I can do for you:
I can help you unlock your possibilities. I will share information that will help move you along your journey. At times, there will be words - other times, a video or activity. Your experience lies in your reflection inward. As you internalize the individual meaning each post has for you - you will find a new existence. It is the accumulation of these over time that creates a new life for you. And...it goes on forever. Each new day brings a new possibility for you. As the opportunities cross at their junction - you will find the purpose of your life.

I would like to review some events of the last 18 months. I started "A More Powerful You" group about 18 months ago to keep my passion for helping others. Working for an agency was getting to me and well, I had to do something to maintain my energy to remain in the helping field. I thought many times over the first three months, "this isn't working out, I should just give up" and my wise friends and support system said, "keep doing it, it is worthwhile". So, I did and one group member turned into 2, 5, 10 at continued to build momentum and some really strong, amazing, freakin' fantastic people. Tonight, I realized my dream has come to life and I am helping people help themselves and others in the process. It is literally multiplying in front of my eyes. The one person that develops their "YOU" in group is making a much, MUCH bigger difference in their world. Group tonight brought this super, freaking awesomeness to my awareness and I realized that because I pushed through my fear, many lives are changed forever. I tried many times to talk myself out of my dream because of the fear, others doubts and well, the time commitment. I am strong. I am proud. This is worthwhile and we are taking this far beyond what each of us has dreamed. This group is changing things!!🌀🌀🌀🌀🌀 We are on the move! Keep your eye on the frog!!

Opening on Monday, May 8! I will be providing services for children. This is a passion of mine because I was a child in foster care and if it hadn't been for some really amazing adults - I would have gotten stuck in the system and remained in a broken family cycle. I want to show children another way by teaching them how to manage emotions and find their personal power. These services are covered by Medicaid. I will also provide Life Coaching, Parenting and community education to help individuals who are struggling with managing emotions, feeling out of control in some aspect of their life or needing help connecting in a healthy way with their children or family. These services are private pay at a very reasonable rate. Group services are also available and provide an inexpensive way to learn some really great skills with the support of others. I have worked in the mental health field for 25 years with 20 years experience as a therapist. And, I am a genuine person which is probably my best quality. Our group members would like to open the group to others as we move into "I'm Totally MEssed Up, and I Love It!" 5 week session for those interested in learning how to work from your heart and get out of your own way. This was week 4 of a 5 week session for "A More Powerful You". 😊 I absolutely LOVE working in a group setting because the growth is exponential. When you have 8 people who all have the same goal, the sky is the limit. So glad to have this amazing opportunity 🌀😊❤️
