Penbrook was once named East Harrisburg and still maintains a Harrisburg postal ZIP code. The population was 3,008 at the 2010 census.

Penbrook is part of the Harrisburg–Carlisle Metropolitan Statistical Area.

PENBROOK LEO CLUB Community Service Project 2017: Manna Food Drive, Wednesday, November 22nd, 11am to 6pm, at the Triangle (Canby & 28th Streets). Please help us feed the hungry of Penbrook this holiday season. Your generous donation of canned or boxed food, bread, baby food,and healthy snacks, as well as cash or check donations will be greatly appreciated. (Note: If you are writing a check, please make it payable to Manna Food Pantry, and indicate Leo Club Food Drive on the memo line). All proceeds will be delivered to the Manna Food Pantry (located at the Penbrook United Church of Christ) immediately following the food drive. Tree Lighting Event: The VIP's will hold the annual Tree Lighting ceremony at the Community Triangle on December 2nd at 6pm. Cookies, hot chocolate, games and holiday music to follow at the Community building. Bring your entire family!

Food Pantry Donations Needed: The Penbrook Leo Club will be holding a Manna Food Drive on November 22nd from 11am to 5pm. This event will take place at the Triangle located at 28th and Canby Streets. All non-perishable and cash donations to benefit the Penbrook Manna Food Pantry. No donation is too small. Thank you for your support.🙂🍎🥨🥫🍭 Happy Thanksgiving!

COME OUT AND ENJOY THE FUN TOMORROW!!!!! Penbrook Lions & VIP Halloween Celebration will be held Saturday, Oct. 28th from 2-5 pm at the Community Building. This event is for Penbrook children & families. Activities and treats for kids ages 0-12, food & games, a magician, a clown and a family parade around the block. Registration for the Costume Parade will be from 2pm -3pm ONLY on Oct. 28th.
