Located at the original Killen’s Steakhouse location at 2804 South Main in Pearland, Killen’s Burgers is Chef Ronnie Killen’s third meat-centric restaurant, along with Killen's Barbecue, Killen's Steakhouse and more recently, Killen's STQ. Boasting a 1950’s diner vibe complete with juke box and retro décor, Killen’s offers a menu of classic made-to-order burgers all ground fresh daily. Hand-cut fries, onion rings, crinkle fries, cheese curds and milkshakes round out the menu. As you all know Killen’s Burgers has been the most difficult concept I have ever operated. Taking a poll on which direction we should go in the future. I have been told that with the Killen’s brand expectations are very high. Should we go with a less expensive blend (Whataburger)and more commercial bun or more artisan style burger (Hopdoddy or STQ). We tried to make a version (fast food) that was very easy to duplicate for franchising purposes, but I have struggled with what I think people like and what they think our brand stands for. Any help would be appreciated.
