From visiting our friends at the Westerville Quilt Guild, to our FABULOUS FIFTH SUNDAY and Improv Tote class PLUS volunteers cutting fabric to prepare for our charity event weekend...wow! I'm tired! ANNUAL QSND CHARITY EVENT IS IN FULL SWING! Currently accepting cotton fabric, fleece, yarn, thread, batting and completed quilts and blankets! This year we will quilt for a LOCAL CAUSE! We will be making quilts, throws and blankets to be distributed to local Pataskala organizations; The Pataskala Oaks Care Center and the Pataskala Police Department! All unused fabric will be donated to My Very Own Blanket of Westerville. **IMPORTANT DATES: Saturday April 15th thru Sunday April 30th: Accepting donations of cotton quilting fabric, thread, yarn, fleece and completed quilts, blankets and throws. THIS Sunday April 30th (5th Sunday) 1 pm to 4 pm Asking for volunteers to precut fabric into 2 1/2" strips and 5" squares and assemble quilt kits Saturday May 13th 10 am to 4 pm QUILTING FOR A CAUSE SEWING EXTRAVAGANZA! Asking for volunteers to assemble simple precut quilts, tie fleece blankets and machine quilt completed quilts.
