Happy Mother's Day, to all who embrace what it is to be a mother in so many ways. Thank you for loving us; thank you for pushing us to believe for impossible things in our lives; thank you for being a safe place to land; thank you for speaking life; thank you for being fierce and protective of us reminding us that we matter more than we know. Thank you for inspiring us and allowing us to soar, for holding us close but also letting us go. Thank you for forgiving us and pursuing us when we put up walls, pull away, do and say hurtful things. Thank you for showing us beauty, for reminding us to rest, and for loving us enough to correct us. Thank you for all of the multitasking and quiet daily sacrifices you make in order to love. Thank you for praying for us. The world is marked by your love! To all the moms: biological moms, foster moms, spiritual moms, work moms, moms to be, and any others I missed, Happy Mother's Day! We love you and celebrate you!

Our hearts are full of gratitude and joy this morning. Yesterday was a horrible day for the community but God.... Last night people gathered and lifted up the name of Jesus releasing and declaring hope, joy, peace, and healing over this area pushing back the darkness and encountering the powerful goodness of God. Testimonies of God healing plantar faciatis, migraines, throat problems, shoulders, as well as chronic back pain from an old injury. In awe of seeing the powerful love of our life giving God in our midst. God is moving in Pataskala! We pray Lord let your Kingdom come! In our joy and expectation, we also mourn with those who are mourning and cover them in our prayers that the goodness of God would manifest in their lives bringing peace, comfort, and hope.

Pray for Pataskala

Happy National Day of Prayer!! In 1952 Congress passed a bill that the President was to make an annual proclamation to appropriate and set aside a day other than Sunday, as a National Day of Prayer. Every year on the first Thursday of May, believers across our land come together in their homes and in public gatherings to lift up the name of Jesus and cry out for His working in areas of our nation and lives. There are many wonderful Day of Prayer gatherings across the nation, and across our state - but this year we are particularly excited about the demonstration of God's movement within our own community which will bring over 20 churches and ministries together tonight to unite our hearts and voices in observation of the National Day of Prayer. Whether you live directly in Pataskala or not, if you are in the area we invite you to join us tonight at 7:00 pm at Liberty Christian Academy for the Pataskala Day of Prayer event.

Without each of us in the Body embracing our original and unique purpose we become copies and we rob the world of a perfect and whole functioning Body of Christ. When we are willing to listen and give our "yes" to who God is calling us to be, in spite of fear and doubt, He leads us to become and do things we never thought possible. Last weekend at Overflow 24 hour worship and prayer I was overcome with awe as I saw God bring original songs, annointed prophetic flow, and passionate bondage breaking worship from different churches and diverse streams of Christianity. We came together to worship Him, to seek His face, to give Him all the glory. Huge thank you to Marc Nolette who has given his "yes" to God and stepped up to organize all the different musicians as well as write and sing powerful original songs to the Lord. 10 hours on the Cajon may be a world record. Amber Bryant I love the song you wrote and sang over Pataskala! Thank you for supporting and empoweing Bekah to do her first worship set. Matt Gabhart thank you for faithfully participating in 24 hour worship, for your original songs, and for encouraging and helping others to find and sing their own heart songs. Jennifer Lynn McCarty I am so proud of you and blessed by your courage to sing and flow in that beautiful place of prophetic worship. Lindsay Ramhoff thank you for having God's heart for Overflow, for leading well and for encouraging your team to go for it! Thank you Jennifer Strumpf for worshiping in the wee hours and keeping the fire lit. Thank you to SueAnn Wheeler, Kim Boydoh, Shirley Hedges, Alisha Nolette who helped clean, set up, pray, bought food, made coffee etc. Thank you for seeing with eyes of love and truly walking out servant leadership. Pataskala Area Day of Prayer

We are excited to join in unity with the other churches and ministries of Pataskala for a time of prayer and worship, next Thursday evening as part of the National Day of Prayer. The theme of this event is "With man this is impossible, but WITH GOD all things are possible." Matthew 19:26 God is doing a great work within our city and our nation. Join us as we join our hearts and faith together with our community to cry out to the God of the impossible!
