After the World Ag Expo we took some time to check out Woodland, CA just north of Davis. They were a comparison city as part of our Somos Pasco economic visioning project. Pretty interesting community, predominantly Hispanic, new development on the West end of town, and the Yolo County seat. Sound familiar? They have a great downtown and something Pasco's continued efforts will eventually emulate.
Our last day at World Ag Expo. We kept our ongoing record of our last meeting being our best meeting. We also had a great ribeye steak sandwich which is a mainstay of the show.
Second day at the World Ag Expo in Tulare, CA. Companies come from all over the world and we have met with companies from China and the Netherlands. We also get a chance to touch base with local companies like Automated Ag out of Moses Lake. They manufacture some of the most innovative products in the industry right in #ourownbackyard.
Port of Pasco joined with Adams County Development Council, Grant County EDC, and Yakima County Development Association to visit World Ag Expo. We are here to promote our region as a great place for agri-business. World Ag Expo is held each year in Tulare, California.

Wanted to thank the Greater Connell Area Chamber of Commerce for their annual dinner last night. We had a great time with good company. That happy guy next to us is no other than Stu Nelson, Franklin PUD Commissioner.

Activity at the Port's barge terminal. Tidewater brought in this barge for Advanced American Construction. They are delivering it to Apollo Sheetmetal, who is working on the water intake structure for the City of Pasco Government
