CONGRATULATIONS ABC RENTAL of 6514 Pearl Road, on their anniversary of BEING IN BUSINESS FOR 50 YEARS!! Mayor Byrne presented the Zatik Family with the following proclamation: WHEREAS: Andrew and Louise Zatik, despite successful careers as a Cleveland police officer and stylist/owner of several high-end beauty salons, respectively, decided to become entrepreneurs in the rental business; and WHEREAS: Andrew and Louise Zatik opened ABC Rental in the City of Parma Heights in May, 1967; and WHEREAS: Andrew, Louise and their three sons worked together through some early lean times and persevered to make the business the successful enterprise it is today; and WHEREAS: Patriarch Andrew Sr., has been retired for many years and Louise passed away in 2003; and WHEREAS: ABC Rental is now owned and operated by their oldest son, Andy after brother Aaron’s retirement several years ago, while son, Alan, owns his own successful business and daughter, Alison, is an entrepreneur in Wisconsin; and WHEREAS: Andy has been assisted in their business operations through the years by his wife Sarah, son Andrew IV, stepson Matt Sweeney, daughter Amelia Sawyer and grandson Catcher, at their two locations, welcoming visitors to their showrooms Monday through Saturdays; and WHEREAS: With their half-century of experience, ABC Rental continues to serve the community by aiding customers with construction equipment rentals and homeowner tool rentals along with wedding, party, and special event rentals; and WHEREAS: With the many friendships and partnerships that Andy Zatik and ABC Rental have developed in Parma Heights throughout the years, we hope they continue to serve the community for many years to come. NOW, THEREFORE, I, MICHAEL P. BYRNE of the City of Parma Heights, and all members of City Council do hereby recognize ABC RENTAL, 6514 Pearl Road as one of the cornerstones of the business community here in the City of Parma Heights and congratulate the Zatik family on their 50 successful years in business.
