FYI Internal Revenue Service has issued this notice: Anyone who has an ITIN or if you have family members and or dependents with ITIN you will be required to re-apply for ITIN. Starting in October 2016 and no later than January 1, 2017. Please pass this information as this benefits many specially if you support your family members. Get the credit for them. Updated IRS Statement Feb. 4, 2016 - 6 p.m. EST The IRS announced it resumed processing individual and business tax returns at approximately 5 p.m. Thursday following resolution of its system outage. Many of the tools and applications came up earlier on Thursday morning, including “Where’s My Refund” on IRS.gov. “IRS teams worked throughout the night and around the clock on this system outage,” IRS Commissioner John Koskinen said. “Our processing systems are back in business. Taxpayers should see little, if any, impact on their tax returns or refunds. Its that time of the year again my friend/clients/family. Tax season officially started January 19, 2016. Information and update per IRS regulation and publications are as follows: "Affortable Care Act" this is a big one just because the penalty is alot higher (2.% of the taxpayes yearly houshold income *325.00 per person for theyear and $162.50 per child under 18. Don't panic will work together in figuring out and exempt or help lower the fine base on your income which is allowed. Also the dependents that you will be claiming you'll need to have proof that they are blood related and that they resided with you. No proof no dependent on this situation. The fine and or penalty for a license prepare is $500 per child if we dont verify documentation. I wish everyone a bless New Year and first God its going to be a great year for all of us.
