Dear Palm Harbor Families: Local Special Needs School needs your help! We are dealing with the aftermath of Irma. We are thankful that all power was restored to our area. As part of the restoration process, Duke Energy came to restore power, cutting down trees, and left them in our parking lot, leaving us with only 3 parking spaces accessible. Routine is very important to special needs children, so it is imperative for us to get our school up and running for the sake of our children. We need our parking lot not only for our teachers and staff, but also for therapists and parents. Our teachers are putting the school back together today to prepare for our students to arrive tomorrow. If there is anyone in the area that could help us out by bringing chainsaws and clearing out our parking lot, we would be very appreciative. Thank you so much!
