facebook.comHave you heard of WE Day? It's the culminating event of the WE movement, a celebration of young people committed to making a difference. Since 2007, the WE Charity has raised more than $45 million for local and global causes. And this year, Riverside Preparatory High School's ASB received tickets to send a group of students to the event this April in Los Angeles! This is an exciting opportunity for our students, and we'll have more information to share about how they were selected and what the experience is like later. And just like that our fifth grade boys and girls teams come out victorious! Tournament champions and an RP sweep! Excellent teamwork and excellent coaching! Thank you to all those that came out to support. Great job Coach Kilzer and Coach Bruscino! WE ARE... SILVER KNIGHTS!!!
Tomorrow, 5/20, our 5th grade girls and boys basketball teams will be competing for 1st place in their league championship games! The games will be at Melva Davis Middle School. Tip off for the girls starts at 5:45pm and 7:00pm for the boys. Come cheer our teams to victory! LET’S GO SILVER KNIGHTS!
It's officially Spring Break! Enjoy the time off with your families and we'll see students back in class on the 26th. :)
We are proud of the way our students chose to participate in the nationwide student walkout protesting gun violence. At 10:00 am the student led group respectfully gathered at the flag pole of the district office for 17 minutes of silence along with a student led prayer. Students then respectfully returned to the middle and high school campus to resume their day.

This past Saturday our Cadets competed in the annual California Cadet Corps, 18th Brigade (High Desert) Brigade Drill Competition. RP Cadets placed in the following Categories: Junior Division (Middle School): 1st Place Color Guard 1st Place Unarmed Squad 1st Place Unarmed Platoon Junior Division Individual Drill Down (Middle School): 1st Place: Cadet Corporal William Cammack 2nd Place: Cadet First Class Christopher Bunton 3rd Place: Cadet Isabel Mungua Senior Division (High School) 1st Place Unarmed Squad 1st Place Armed Squad 2nd Place Color Guard Armed Individual Drill Down (High School): 1st Place: Cadet Sergeant Gabrielle Callahan 2nd: Cadet Sergeant First Class Jacob Gutierrez 3rd: Cadet First Class Joseph Hernandez All first place teams and individual winners will advance to the State Championship on April 14th at Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base.

Escape the Bus is at Riverside Prep today and tomorrow! This iSchool Initiative experience uses educational technology and the the components of an Escape Room to provide a fun activity for students and staff alike.
