Located on the northeast side of Sacramento, CA Calvary Chapel, of Folsom/Orangevale, started as a home Bible study in 1990, and grew to become a fellowship of believers in the lordship of Jesus Christ in June of 1991. We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominationalism, only the overemphasis of doctrinal differences that may lead to unnecessary division in the body of Christ.

We believe that the love of God, (which is greater than any of our differences), is the true basis of Christian fellowship. Therefore, we look to the presence of His love in our lives as the greatest evidence that we are truly worshiping the Lord Jesus. We are in fellowship with Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa (pastor Chuck Smith).
