Description
Dear Fellow Beatles Fan:
Roll Up Roll Up for the Mystery Tour, step right this way…
GREETINGS and thank you for requesting information on the one & only Magical History Tour! “It's getting better all the time!“
We are celebrating our 30th (!) anniversary presenting tours to Liverpool, the only company in the world that has brought thousands upon thousands of satisfied fans and travelers to the Beatles land on a regular basis for so long. We’ve been officially recognized by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool for our efforts in bringing fans to the Beatles’ city! We were (and still are) involved in most of the organized events in Liverpool, and we even host The Beatles live concert stage at the Mathew Street Music Festival. We’re the only tour that has gotten fans INSIDE Abbey Road Studios 2 for recording sessions, and the only group that includes tickets to all the events in Liverpool during BeatleWeek. So you are in good hands with the original presenters of the annual tour for Beatles Fans. Accept no substitutes! We can supply endless references, all satisfied travelers.
2013 is one of the most special years ever for visiting Liverpool in celebration of the 50th Anniversary and OUR 30th anniversary. Our anniversary gift to ourselves and to travelers is GUARANTEED ENTRY INSIDE ABBEY ROAD STUDIO 2!!! It will be our first time back INSIDE Abbey Road for a recording session in 10 years. This is what fans have been begging for and we’re very excited to make it a reality again.
In Liverpool, we visit every possible site as we do every year, plus there are always surprises. Some of those surprises included: We were the only group in history to have our tour of Liverpool hosted by John Lennon’s sister, Julia! The famous Strawberry Field orphanage around the corner from John’s home closed, and we were part of the giant farewell festival. When Hulme Hall in Port Sunlight celebrated the 50th anniversary of Ringo’s first show there with John, Paul & George, we were part of the special celebration, and we had a star-filled function at Quarry Bank School with The Quarrymen. We celebrated The Beatles 50th anniversary at the Cavern and their 50th anniversary in Manchester. So every year brings a new surprise event. And of course we definitely visit all the Liverpool locations including Strawberry Field, Penny Lane, the Cavern Club and St. Peter’s Church – where John & Paul first met. We go INSIDE John & Paul’s homes (and sometimes Ringo’s) and visit The Beatles Story museum. Those are the “staples,” as every year we add new special attractions and features.
Along with all the sites in London we usually have dinner at Bill Wyman’s rock & roll restaurant Sticky Finger and at the original Hard Rock Café, where we eat, drink, and visit the rarest memorabilia in “The Vault.” For complete activities in London and Liverpool, and the unbelievable amount of places we visit, please refer to the past tour reports on our website, and know that we always add more new places and events.
