The EVAP system's function is to keep harmful gas fumes in the gasoline tank from reaching the atmosphere. This car was blowing it's 20 amp fuel pump fuse when starting causing it to not start. The fuel pump was drawing 26 amps!! Heres two bad fuel pump waveforms and one good fuel pump waveform drawing a normal 8 amps running with a 14 amp spike at start up. Diagnoses: Bad Fuel Pump #testingnoguessing #dontbeapartschanger
