2016 – A Quiet but First Full Year at Great Oak Park
The year in review and possibilities for 2017:
Just a quick reminder, once we get our first real snow fall the park gates will be closed until spring. As in the past, we cannot get the snow plows in there without ripping up the ground or the parking lot. Once the thaw has arrived and the DPW has had a chance to prep the park for spring we will re-open. Currently the park is OPEN; I will repost once the gates are locked for the season. Also, when the park is closed the DPW will turn over the garbage cans. If you choose to walk in the park during those winter months with your dog, kindly carry your waste bags out with you. Last year there were many waste bags piled on top of turned over garbage cans creating quite a mess for the DPW. Thank you..........
