This Sunday afternoon! (From 2:00 to 5:30 pm) Join Tristina Dietz-Elmes during her Advanced Encaustic Hot Wax Painting class at TRAX Art Studios ~ The class includes working with encaustic's collage and special finishing techniques. $75 per student. Space is limited. Register today!

Explore the luminous layering and texture building properties of hot encaustic wax painting. Classes are kept small to allow plenty of personal instruction. Students will be shown collage techniques, then stencil and apply special surface treatments on their wax creations...and will leave with a finished painting! Workshop materials included. Participants should wear clothing that can get messy. Painting aprons are available in the studio if you do not have one. Cold water will be available in the studio for purchase; bring any additional drinks desired as it is important to keep hydrated during the workshop.
