🚴Free Bikes 4 Kidz🚴 Allina Health, with support from the Northfield HCI, Greenvale Park Community School, Northfield Police and Police Reserves, held their Free Bikes 4 Kidz event last Saturday, May 8th at Greenvale Elementary School. Over 150 gently used, or new, bikes were paired up with children in need. The bikes were inspected before being issued and then registered with the city before being ridden away with smiles. The event ran from 9:00am until all bikes were distributed by around Noon. That’s 50+ bicycles an hour!! What a wonderful event and a great way for these kids to be able to start their summer. Thank you to all the volunteers and staff that took part in this event.
