Finally just finished this baby blanket for a young lady at church who is having a baby boy next month! I love the way it turned out! It is kind of hard to read in the pictures but it says " Your first breath took ours away". This took about a month and a half to complete. I hope she loves it as much as I do!
I know it has been a while since I have posted, so here I am!! I hope all the Mom's out there had a great Mother's Day! I know I did, I got to spend the day with my three favorite little people in the whole world! There is a lot going on in our household this month! My husband just graduated with his Bachelors degree in Science and Pyschology, my oldest son Michael is graduating from Kindergarten in a week and my youngest, Mackenzie will be turning 2 this Sunday! We have been pretty busy but, I am still crocheting! I am currently working on a precious blanket for a baby boy that is due to be born this summer! As soon as I am finished I will post some pictures! Have a blessed day everyone!

The latest creation that I have made. My son recently had 'Literary Character Day' at school where they were to dress up. We chose for Michael to be Rip Van Winkle. Of course Mommy had to make the costume and crocheted him a sleeping cap complete with white beard!

Does anyone else out there have a drawer or kitchen cabinet full of plastic grocery bags?? We save ours to use for other things and we also recycle them. I get sick of seeing them stuffed into a drawer and they fall out everytime I open that drawer. I always see those bags they sell in the stores that you can store your extra bags in and when you need one you can pull one out through the bottom. I thought to myself, I bet I can crochet one! Here is my finished product...it works and it's better than having them all stuffed into a drawer that I need for other items!

I made these for my Mom for her birthday, which is today. Happy Birthday, Mom! Anyway, I originally intended them as dish cloths. But, you could use them as a hot pad, or a pot holder or just a decoration! My Mom thought they would be best hung up in her kitchen!

My oldest son, Michael has a Valentine's Day party at school tomorrow. I thought I would be clever and crochet him a Valentine's tie. He was all for it until we put it on and he then decided he would rather wear his red Avenger's shirt instead. Boys....what are ya going to do? lol!! Here it is anyway...(Excuse the ninja turtle bottoms...it is a sick day in our house today and he is in his pj's. I made him put on his school shirt to try the tie, lol!)
