Pane's Restaurant
Description
A taste of Italy. A taste of America. Not just a good meal, but a dining experience over 50 years in the making. Dine in, Take-Out, Catering & Banquet Hall The Restaurant & Our Story
Hi, I'm Jim Pane and I welcome you to our restaurant. I hope that what you enjoy is not just a good meal, but a dining experience over 50 years in the making. It is a place where my father's love of the community and my mother's recipes melded to become so much more than food. I am reminded of this every day when I see friends, generations of families that have expanded over the years, and new faces. Ever since I was little, I can remember watching my mother transform ordinary ingredients into mouth-watering aromas and dishes that kept people coming back for more. I can also remember my father's lessons he taught me, reminding me always that always the guests are the reason we're here. While many things have changed over the years, I'm proud to say that we have stayed true to my father's and mother's vision of offering generous portions of the highest quality meals at great value.
It was 1959 when my parents, Peter and Esther, purchased a small tavern, quickly adding food to the establishment. With the help of their children, we became one of the first establishments in the area to introduce and up-and-coming food craze called pizza! With a jukebox, a pool table, and a few hungry patrons, it soon became a place where people came together.
While it took more than food to create an inviting atmosphere, there was no doubt that it was an essential element. For that, I credit my mother. Esther loves to cook. At both family gatherings & holidays, and every day in between, family and friends gather to share in the meals the bring us all to the table. It was that love of sharing meals and the recipes she created that were brought into the meals served at the restaurant.
Today, as we have evolved from an 8-table tavern with a jukebox and a pool table to a 350-seat full service establishment, I'm proud of the growth that we have experienced based on the fundamental idea that you, our guests, are the reason we're here.
After recently passing our 50th anniversary, it's wonderful to watch our daughter, Natalia growing up in the restaurant as I did. My mother still stops in a few times a week as she approaches 90 years old. Standing on a chair next to her, Natalia loves to help her Nana in the kitchen.
It has bean an honor to serve our community along with my wife, Elizabeth, and out dedicated staff. I hope you enjoy our new Tuscan-theme exterior, have a great meal at a fair price, and feel welcome each and every time you visit.
