A concerned citizen sent this because of all the traffic blocking the streets while parents are attempting to pick up from Richardson Elementary after school. Please either wait on the side streets on in the parking lot so buses, other traffic and pedestrians can get through.

Washington County Sheriff's Office The Washington County Sheriff's Office continues to receive reports of IRS scams. Victims receive a call from someone claiming to be from the IRS. The victim will be told that there is a warrant for their arrest and that the need to get cash, money orders, gift cards for payment to prevent their arrest. THIS IS A SCAM. The IRS will not call you in this manner or demand cash to prevent your arrest. If you receive one of these calls hang up and block the number if you are able. Please spread the word to friends, relatives and the elderly. We have to get the word out as we continue to see victims paying out to these scams.

The North St Paul Police Department is currently looking for a 9 yr old Juvenile male that walked away from Cowern Elementary School. He is a White Male, Blonde hair, wearing a Long Gray Sleeve Shirt, Dark or Blue Sweat Pants. Please call 911 if observed.

Press Release: On Thursday September 8th 2016 North St Paul Police Department assisted Roseville PD and East Metro SWAT on the 2400 Block of 12th Ave on a warrant service. A 38 year old male had a Felony Burglary Warrant. Upon arrival the male party fled the scene on foot into the neighborhoods to avoid the Police. After a brief foot chase the male party was taken into custody over on 16th Avenue. Any questions can be directed to Captain Nikituk at 651-747-2532.

Remembering Officer Richard Crittenden Sr. Today, September 7th marks the seventh anniversary of fallen Officer Richard Crittenden Sr. who was killed in the line of duty. A memorial statue of Officer Crittenden is located near the fire station at City Hall. He would have turned 64 on August 31. To date, 277 Minnesota officers have lost their lives in the line of duty since 1874.
